Remembering Pearl Harbor

Imagine walking down the street or in a park and all of a sudden you are being shot at from planes up above. That is what happened on the morning of December 7th, 1941. Today marks the 69th anniversary of  the attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii by the Empire of Japan.  A day that President Franklin D. Roosevelt said will “live in infamy.” We salute the soldiers, nurses, and cooks (look up Dorie Miller) who played a major part by risking their lives to save others. Here are some movies to check out that are based around this historical day:

*From Here to Eternity (1953)

*Pearl Harbor (2001)

Feel free to do more research.
